Bulk Circle Crop

Bulk circle crop applies one framing to a set of headshots, then downloads them together. You can still nudge a face that sits off center.

How does a batch stay private?

Each file is decoded locally, the same way a single photo is. The ZIP is built in the page from the exported blobs. It is not assembled on a server. Filenames you see in the archive are generated names, not a report of the original names sent anywhere. Analytics, when an ID exists, can record that a download happened. It does not receive pixels, sizes, or names.

Twenty is the cap so a phone does not try to hold an unbounded set of bitmaps. If you drop more than twenty, the extra files are skipped and a note says so. Remove a thumbnail if you need a different set.

When should I adjust one photo and apply it to all?

Apply to all is right when the framing matches: a row of headshots from the same camera distance, or a set of logos with the same padding. It copies zoom, pan, rotation, and flip. It does not invent a different face position for each file. If one person stands to the left, select that thumbnail and nudge it alone.

Borders, format, and size are the page settings, so the batch shares them. Set those before you build the ZIP. PNG is the right default if the circles need clear corners. JPG makes a smaller ZIP and a solid background.

What are the memory limits?

A 50 megabyte cap applies to each file, same as the single editor. Very large photos are edited through a proxy whose long edge is at most 4096 pixels, and the export resamples from the original. Doing that twenty times needs RAM. If the tab becomes sluggish, export a smaller size or split the set.

GIF files contribute their first frame only, and a note says so. HEIC and HEIF are refused with a message to convert to JPG. An empty file or a file that is not an image fails with a message and does not stop the rest of the batch.

How do I check the set before the ZIP?

Click each thumbnail. The main circle shows that photo’s crop. The strip still shows 24, 32, 48, and 96 pixels for the one you are on. A batch that looks fine at full size can fail when the faces are the size of a chat icon. Fix the outliers, then download the ZIP.

The ZIP button is separate from the single Download button. Use Download when you only want the photo that is open. Use the ZIP when you want every thumbnail.

How should a batch stay consistent?

Set the first photo the way you want the set to look: same zoom habit, same border, same format. Apply to all, then step through the thumbnails and fix only the faces that sit off center. Twenty images is the cap so the tab does not try to hold a folder. The ZIP is built in the browser from the files you already opened. If one picture is HEIC, it is skipped with the same message as a single crop, and the rest of the batch can still download.

When is a batch worth opening?

A bulk circle crop is for a set of headshots that should share one framing, not for twenty different compositions. Fix one photo, apply that zoom and position to the rest, and download the ZIP. A bulk circle crop still runs in the browser, with a cap of 20 so a phone is not asked to hold an endless stack of pictures. If one face sits differently, adjust that thumbnail before you treat the bulk circle crop as finished. The ZIP from a bulk circle crop uses generated filenames, not a report sent anywhere.

Frequently asked questions

How many photos can I add?

Up to 20. Extra files are ignored and a note explains the cap.

Does apply-to-all change every crop?

It copies zoom, pan, rotation, and flip from the photo you are editing onto the others.

Is the ZIP uploaded?

No. It is created in your browser and downloaded from there.

Why did a GIF look still?

Only the first frame is used. Animated circle crops are not part of this version.

What if one file is not an image?

That file gets an error. The others stay in the strip.

Can I mix PNG and JPG in one ZIP?

The batch uses the format selected on the page, so every file in that ZIP matches.
