Terms of Use

These terms of use cover the editor and the guides. You may crop pictures you have the right to use, and a download is not a promise that another service will accept the file.

Pictures you are allowed to open

You are responsible for the pictures you open in the editor. Cropping them on your device does not give you a license you did not already have. Do not use the tool on a private photo of someone else when you lack permission, and do not use it to break another service’s rules or someone else’s privacy.

These terms of use were last updated on 6 October 2026. They apply to the editor, the guides, and the size pages on circlecropimage.app.

The file you download

The download is yours to keep, move, and delete. circlecropimage.app does not watermark it and does not claim copyright in your picture.

The site’s text, the drawn frames, and the logo belong to this site. You may link to a page. You may not copy the articles or the frames and present them as your own documentation, or as official documentation from one of the companies named below.

Other companies’ names

Discord, Instagram, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, X, Microsoft, Google, Canva, and Adobe are named because the guides describe a task people do in those products.

Their help pages change. A size or a menu on this site can be wrong after the date printed on the page. Read the source link before you rely on a number. The methodology explains what that date means and what happens when a help page goes silent.

Limits of the editor

The tool is free to open and is provided as it runs today. It can fail. A file larger than 50 MB is rejected. HEIC and HEIF are not decoded; the page asks you to convert them to JPG. An export cannot exceed 4096 pixels on the long side. A browser can also refuse a format that another browser accepts.

None of those limits is a service you can require us to change by a deadline. We do not promise that Discord, Instagram, or any other product will accept the file. Their upload rules are theirs. We also do not promise that the editor will keep matching a future version of a vendor’s menu. Questions about these terms go to hello@circlecropimage.app. How the photo is handled is on the privacy policy.

Using the site fairly

Do not interfere with the site, attempt to break the pages, or send someone else’s private photo to the contact address. Do not present this text as a statement from Discord, Instagram, Microsoft, Google, or any other company named in the guides.

If these terms of use change, the date in the first section changes with them. Continuing to use the editor after that date means you accept the updated terms.
